You're right. Comparing Israel's treatment of the Palestinians is a bit unfair in my opinion. After all, the Israeli's are gassing them up.
I think a better parallel is comparing Israel to Apartheid South Africa, where one race is trying to rule the other by force, and confining them in artificially created Bantustans.
Or maybe another fair comparison is the French colonization of Algeria.

Why is the holocaust such a tragedy yet the ancestors of the victims are doing worse because they know their own history and how it affects them. If it is a tagedy then so is Palestine and that cannot be denied.
Jewish members of the Knesset have likened Israel's actions to the Nazis...there was one guy who has died recently and he was the only member who had survived the concentration camps...he said it and no-one made a fuss because they couldn't.
