On the morning of February 6, two bulldozers and a number of military jeeps entered the community of al-Hadidiya and destroyed the homes of 18 people and chased the local away.
The people of al-Hadidiya have long been resisting a series of attempts by the Occupation authorities to expel them from their land to make way for the further expansion of the Roi, Bega’ot and Hamda settlements.
The local Palestinian population, which has been there since long before Israeli forces occupied the area four decades ago, is being put under increasing pressure to leave the area
The current demolitions are part of a larger campaign that is being waged against the Bedouin communities in the West Bank.
With the planned expansion of settlements, particularly to the north and east of Jerusalem, the Occupation is working to remove Bedouin from areas where it plans to build. In the Jerusalem plains, for example, some 7,500 Jahalin Bedouin are under threat of eviction and forced population transfer.

After which point, in 1967, Israel seized the West Bank and Gaza. They [Palestinians] did not invade, they lived there to begin with and were ejected. Israel broke the armistice, not the arab nations, and now Israel is engaging in ethnic cleansing. Obviously, Israel needs to go back to the 1967 borders eventually. The problem is, they tried this in Gaza and Hamas is still attacking them with rockets from Gaza and still refuses to recognize that Israel exists. It makes it very hard for Israelis to do the right thing. The Palestinians have to give up their plan to destroy Israel and show they can create a functional society in Gaza.

There were suspicions that Egypt and Syria were about to start a war, but the Russians changed their mind and counseled Egypt and Syria against it. The ISraelis started the war anyway.

This photo is meaningless
I try to always be evenhanded when it come to the "Israeli/Palestinian" issues. Photos like the one above have long bothered me. There was a photo a while ago of two israeli soldiers hauling a man with a bloodied face away. everyone immediately said that it was an 18 year old Palestinian man mercilessly beaten by israeli soldiers for protesting the occupation of his home village. Later it came out: the man in the photo was an israeli jew, he was beaten and stoned by palestinian protesters. The soldiers weren't hauling him away, the were trying to carry him away to get medical attention!
So, now every blog that posts pictures like this, seems to me like you are hurting your own cause. The only people who believe every one of these pictures are already people who are heavily biased against israel anyway.
In trying to be fair, i'm skeptical of this image. Who knows what this woman is doing and how it relates to what the bulldozer is doing. Very religious jewish women also cover their heads kind of like this woman. There's no reason why this woman could not be an Israeli woman! Her hands may be in the air because the murderous israeli army is towing her car for illegal parking. She may not have any relation at all to whats in the background!
