The friction between Palestine and Israel was caused by the balfore agreement which promised the land now currently occupied by Israel to the Palestinians and the Israelis. This was to gain support for GB in America and the middle east. theres other stuff that happened b4 this but this incident really made it much worse. Originally there was a UN decided border for Israel and Palestine but this was disregarded by Israel in the seven day war. The reason no one intervened and forced Israel to turn over the land they had captured was American politicians don't like losing voters support. So the current borders of Israel and lack thereof Palestine are in violation of UN law. I doubt piece will ever come to this section of land because of how it is, they did this to us so what we're doing is justified, attitude of both parties.

In essence we're all hypocrites in our own respectful ways. Change can only come from within our own selves. True peace cannot be enforced, it has to be of our own free will, just like the hate, anger, apathy, helplessness that we may feel. It seems that definitions of words such as peace, defense, freedom, liberty, patriotism are getting lengthier, more complex and harder to explain with every passing year. The lingering question is what are we willing to accept? Looking at the bigger picture, looks like we're pretty accepting about what happens to us.
