Ok that first one is not graffiti. It is a legal wall -- if not done for commission than at the least done with permission.

Look at it. You really think someone camped out at that wall for five hours painting that piece without drawing any heat.

Also, "graffiti" in Europe doesn't really count either. First off, there's no war on graff and cops could give two shits so pretty much the whole continent is a blank canvas or, effectively, one big legal wall. And second, with companies like Montana (out of Barca I think) selling spray cans made especially for writers (think bright colors, no drip ink etc) any toy can come off strong without putting in the years of learning it takes to rack cans and really bomb shit thorough.

So yes, they are art, and not vandalism. Looks like you were right for all the wrong reasons.
